In a high-octane IPL 2026 clash at the Shahid Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a formidable total of 192/4 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The innings was headlined by a stellar half-century from young talent Angkrish Raghuvanshi and a trademark explosive finish by Rinku Singh. Despite RCB winning the toss and opting to bowl first, their bowlers struggled to contain the KKR middle order during the latter half of the innings.
The KKR innings got off to a steady start, though openers Finn Allen and skipper Ajinkya Rahane were dismissed relatively early. However, Angkrish Raghuvanshi took control of the game, scoring a brilliant 71 off just 46 balls, including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes. He found a reliable partner in Cameron Green (32), and together they stabilized the ship with a 68-run partnership for the third wicket. Raghuvanshi’s ability to rotate strike and find boundaries at will put the RCB bowlers on the back foot.
The real fireworks began when Rinku Singh joined Raghuvanshi at the crease. The duo dismantled the RCB bowling attack in the death overs, putting on a crucial 76-run stand for the fourth wicket. Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 49 from just 29 deliveries, narrowly missing a half-century as he hammered 3 fours and 2 sixes. For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, and Rasikh Salam Dar managed to pick up one wicket each, but the target of 193 remains a steep climb for the Bangalore franchise.
