The news of popular television dance master Pandu (G. Shanmukh) meeting with a severe road accident has sent shockwaves across the Telugu small-screen industry. The accident occurred at midnight near Anandapuram in the Visakhapatnam district, leaving him with critical injuries to his legs. Following his admission, the attending doctors at Medicover Hospital in Visakhapatnam released an official health bulletin to the media regarding his current medical condition.
Medical professionals confirmed that Pandu sustained highly severe injuries to both of his legs. He is currently receiving emergency care in the hospital, and a team of specialists has completed a comprehensive round of medical examinations. The doctors stated that he will have to undergo immediate surgeries on his legs to treat the impact of the crash. Following the surgical procedures, Pandu will strictly require a minimum of six months of complete bed rest to recover properly and regain normalcy.
Meanwhile, the Anandapuram police reached the hospital to record statements and have officially registered a case to investigate how the accident took place. Pandu gained massive popularity across the Telugu states through his energetic performances on ETV’s dance reality show ‘Dhee’ and subsequently built a prominent career as a film choreographer and stage performer.
