The Maris Stella Alumnae Association (MSAA) organised a free medical camp at the Maris Stella College (Autonomous) auditorium in Vijayawada on Thursday for students and staff. The camp provided free screening for eye-related problems, dental health, blood pressure and blood sugar.
Medical teams from Win Vision Eye Hospital, Konacc Diagnostics and Asician Dental Care conducted the tests and offered health guidance to participants. College principal Dr Innyasamma inaugurated the camp and appreciated the MSAA for its continued contribution to social service and welfare activities.
Degree Vice-Principal Dr Lavanya, camp coordinator and MSAA vice-president G Usha Kumari, and executive body members Swapna Vunnam, Vidyavathi, Santha Kumari and Visalakshi attended the programme. Dr Innyasamma said the alumnae association had been consistently reaching out to poor and needy people through various welfare initiatives.
