German Tourists Visit Historic Ramappa Temple in Mulugu

A group of tourists from Germany visited the historic Ramappa Temple in Palampet village of Mulugu district on Sunday. The visitors, Kabliz Young, Yuli Stayimb and Chico Stran Lu, explored the renowned temple and admired its historic and architectural significance.

Temple priests Harish Sharma and Umashankar welcomed the German visitors and performed special prayers for them before offering them theertha prasadam. Tourism guide Gorantla Vijay Kumar explained the history of the Ramappa Temple and highlighted the importance of its intricate sculptures and architectural craftsmanship. Expressing their appreciation, the visitors described Ramappa as a “beautiful temple.”

After visiting the temple, the tourists also visited the nearby Ramappa Lake and enjoyed boating. Executive Officer Immadi Bhaskar, tourist police personnel, and staff from the Endowments, Archaeology and Tourism departments accompanied the visitors during their tour.
