Food safety officials conducted extensive inspections across Kukatpally in Hyderabad on September 9. As part of a special enforcement drive carried out under the Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE), officials inspected a total of 20 food establishments, including restaurants, bakeries, sweet shops and hostels.
During the inspections, officials found several violations related to food safety and hygiene standards at multiple establishments. The drive focused on checking whether food businesses were maintaining proper cleanliness and following the prescribed safety regulations while preparing and serving food.
The enforcement drive is part of ongoing efforts by authorities to ensure food safety and protect consumers. Officials are expected to take necessary action against establishments found violating food safety norms and to reinforce compliance with hygiene and quality standards across food businesses in the city.
