BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has launched a scathing attack on Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, calling him an “agent of China” and an “enemy of India.” This accusation came shortly after former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane clarified a segment of his upcoming memoir regarding the India-China border tensions. General Naravane explained that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s directive to “do whatever you deem appropriate” demonstrated the government’s complete trust in the armed forces, urging that such sensitive military matters should not be heavily politicized.
Escalating his criticism, Tiwari condemned the Congress party and Gandhi for their continuous verbal assaults on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He expressed outrage that political opponents have resorted to calling the Prime Minister a terrorist, emphasizing that Modi is a leader who has instilled fear in generations of actual terrorists. Tiwari confidently stated that the citizens of the country are watching and will deliver a fitting response to these derogatory remarks.
Shifting his focus to West Bengal, the BJP MP also took aim at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her recent emotional comments about breathing her last in the state. Dismissing her rhetoric as a distraction from governance, Tiwari alleged that West Bengal is currently suffering under ‘gunda raj’ with a severe breakdown in law and order, citing the RG Kar case as a prime example. He credited the leadership of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the recent massive 92 percent voter turnout in the state, predicting that the upcoming election results on May 4 will reflect substantial gains for the BJP.
