Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha launched a scathing attack on the YSRCP, stating that the opposition party has made it a habit to tarnish the government’s reputation and create unnecessary problems. She criticized the previous YSRCP regime, reminding everyone that they were the ones who degraded the teaching profession by deploying school teachers to stand guard outside liquor shops. Defending the current ruling alliance, she stated that the recent DSC (Teacher Recruitment) exams were conducted with utmost transparency, contrasting it with the poor management of Group-1 exams during the YSRCP rule.
The Home Minister issued a stern warning against those making baseless allegations regarding the DSC recruitment process. She made it clear that the government would not tolerate anyone spreading malicious rumors through mere word-of-mouth without evidence, and strictly warned that criminal cases would be registered against such individuals. Anitha highlighted that a majority of the current teachers in the state were originally recruited during the TDP regime and emphasized that the current government has respectfully handed over appointment letters after resolving all pending issues.
Taking a dig at YSRCP leaders, Anitha mocked their lack of understanding regarding the ‘Bridge Sports’ issue. She sharp-tonguedly remarked that Bridge Sports is a recognized game and not the gambling clubs that the opposition leaders used to run in the past. She concluded that the opposition is resorting to these baseless allegations and fabrications solely for their political survival and to remain visible in the media.
