BJP National Vice President DK Aruna launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, claiming he lacks genuine commitment toward completing the crucial Palamuru irrigation projects. She pointed out that Revanth Reddy has never historically fought for the water resources of this region. Drawing parallels with the past administration, Aruna warned that the Chief Minister is treading the exact same path as former CM and BRS Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), and will ultimately meet the same political fate.
Aruna alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is solely focused on promotional hype rather than actual grassroots development. She questioned why the Congress administration has failed to complete the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme despite being in power for nearly two and a half years. Dismissing the Congress party’s allegations that the Central Government is intentionally blocking national status for the project, she demanded to know why the Congress failed to include national status for this venture in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act when the state was originally divided.
“Is Telangana Revanth’s Personal Estate?” Aruna Counters CM’s Border Restrictions Warning
The BJP leader expressed fierce disapproval of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent controversial remarks, where he stated that state BJP leaders were evading accountability and threatened that Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy would not be allowed to cross into Telangana’s borders. Retorting sharply, DK Aruna questioned, “Is Telangana Revanth Reddy’s personal estate to restrict anyone’s entry?”
She further criticized the Chief Minister, stating that he is unable to walk among ordinary citizens without being surrounded by heavy security cordons. Aruna asserted that the people of Telangana are closely observing the political claims made by the Congress party, leading to widespread public dissatisfaction with the current regime. In contrast, she claimed that public support for the BJP is growing steadily across the state, expressing strong confidence that the people of Telangana are ready to elect a BJP government in the next assembly elections.
