Senior IPS Officer and TGSRTC Managing Director V.C. Sajjanar expressed severe dissatisfaction over the rising trend of dangerous stunts and reckless driving on Hyderabad’s roads. Taking to social media, he strongly condemned a viral video featuring a young man working on his laptop while riding a motorcycle. The shocking footage captured the rider moving at a fast pace while typing away on a laptop placed directly on the bike’s handlebar, putting his own life and the safety of other commuters at serious risk.
Reacting sharply to this hazardous behavior, Sajjanar noted that there is a proper time and place for everything, questioning the absolute rush that leads people to take such extreme risks. He cautioned that a momentary lapse in concentration on busy public roads can easily turn fatal, not just for the rider but also for innocent pedestrians and fellow motorists. Social media users also echoed his sentiments, calling the rider’s actions completely unacceptable and irresponsible given the heavy traffic conditions of the city.
Emphasizing the value of life over professional demands, Sajjanar advised that the jobs people do to sustain themselves should never become the very reason for their demise. He strongly urged the youth to put an end to such dangerous habits, strictly adhere to traffic regulations, and ensure safe travel to their destinations. Netizens widely supported his advice, adding that no amount of corporate pressure justifies risking one’s life on a moving vehicle.
