Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the government is committed to making India a completely secure country and ensuring that the nation remains free from illegal infiltration. He emphasised that the right to reside in India belongs to Indian citizens and warned that strict action would be taken against those who enter the country illegally.
Addressing the issue of infiltration, Amit Shah said the government would take firm measures against individuals who cross the country’s borders illegally by evading security agencies. He reiterated that the Centre is fully committed to protecting India’s national security and strengthening measures along the borders.
Amit Shah also stressed that India cannot be treated as a place where anyone can enter and settle without following the law. He said the government would continue its efforts to identify and deal with illegal infiltrators and work towards making the country completely infiltration-free in the near future.
