Traffic restrictions will be imposed across Cyberabad from 4:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Sunday due to the 14th edition of the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon, Cyberabad Joint Commissioner (Traffic) Sunpreet Singh announced. The main marathon will start from People’s Plaza and pass through Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, Cable Bridge, ITC Kohinoor, IKEA, Biodiversity Junction, Gachibowli Flyover and IIIT Junction before reaching Gachibowli Stadium.
The 10K run, starting from HITEX, will proceed through NAC, CII Junction, GATI, Rainbow Hospital, Dell Junction, IKEA Underpass, Biodiversity and Telecom Nagar before finishing at Gachibowli Stadium. Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys in advance and follow the traffic diversion routes during the marathon.
Vehicles from Shaikpet Flyover/Dargah towards Lingampally will be diverted through Nanakramguda Rotary, Wipro Circle, Gowlidoddi, Gopanpally, Nallagandla and Lingampally. Traffic from Lingampally towards Mehdipatnam will be diverted via Heritage Junction, Botanical Garden, Anjaiah Nagar, Radisson, PJR Flyover, ORR and Nanakramguda, while vehicles heading towards Kukatpally/Kondapur will use the IKEA Rotary, Meenakshi Junction, Rolling Hills and the U-turn beneath the PJR Flyover.
