Satyadev’s “Rao Bahadur”: Comparing the Scale to Baahubali and Viral Comments on Transformation

Satyadev’s upcoming psychological emotional drama, Rao Bahadur, directed by Venkatesh Maha, is creating significant buzz following the actor’s intriguing remarks during a recent song launch event. Satyadev expressed immense confidence in the film’s impact, boldly comparing its theatrical experience to high-scale productions like Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Varanasi, and the Hollywood epic Avatar. He promised that the film’s scale and storytelling would captivate audiences in the same way those global hits did, marking it as a milestone in his career.

The actor also shared humorous and surprising insights into his dedication to the role, jokingly mentioning that he performed “special rituals” (Kshudra Poojalu) to manifest such a challenging character. Satyadev revealed the intense physical demands of the project, stating that he underwent five hours of makeup daily to transition between various looks, ranging from a young man to an elderly person. He reflected on his long-standing desire to perform complex, transformation-heavy roles similar to those played by legends like Chiranjeevi and Kamal Haasan, noting that Rao Bahadur finally fulfilled that aspiration.

Produced by A+S Movies and Srichakra Entertainments, and presented by Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment, the film is set as a periodical psychological drama spanning the 1920s to the 1940s. Featuring Deepa Thomas as the female lead, the movie promises a unique blend of dark comedy, action, and deep emotion. With the teaser already creating hype and the latest song “O Sundari” trending online, fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the release date to see Satyadev’s multi-layered performance on the big screen.
