Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy has criticized the Telangana government, stating that the Telangana High Court’s strong remarks on HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath have exposed the administration’s failures. He alleged that the government’s handling of the issue had come under serious judicial scrutiny.
The MLA said HYDRAA exercised extensive powers while carrying out demolition drives against people’s houses but failed to withstand legal scrutiny. He questioned the functioning of the agency, claiming its actions did not align with established legal procedures.
Bandari Lakshma Reddy further alleged that protecting officials who ignore court directions and due legal process is dangerous for democracy. He urged the government to ensure that all officials act strictly within the framework of the law and respect judicial orders.
