Oil marketing companies have issued an important alert to LPG consumers regarding the e-KYC process. While the earlier deadline ended on July 31, 2026, consumers have now been given another opportunity to complete their verification. Domestic LPG cylinder users and beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) have been advised to complete their e-KYC by August 16, 2026.
Consumers who fail to complete the process within the deadline could face difficulties in obtaining LPG cylinders at domestic prices. PMUY beneficiaries may also risk losing their subsidy benefits if the e-KYC verification is not completed on time. The companies are therefore urging consumers to complete the process before the revised deadline to avoid any disruption.
Oil marketing companies are also sending repeated SMS alerts to registered mobile numbers. The messages inform consumers that e-KYC is mandatory to continue receiving LPG cylinders at domestic prices and remind those who have not yet completed the verification. Consumers have been advised to complete the process before August 16 to avoid losing eligibility for domestic LPG pricing and related benefits.
